This project is within reach—and timing matters.
To move forward with the North Bank Trail from 48th Avenue to 64th Avenue, we must raise the remaining funds needed for matching requirements and engineering work by June 2026. Meeting this deadline allows us to pair local support with a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant and other committed funding, keeping the project on track for construction in 2027.
Once complete, this trail segment will do more than fill a gap—it will connect multiple communities, creating a continuous, safe, and accessible corridor for walking and biking that links neighborhoods and shared destinations.

Beginning the Week of May 11th through June 30th, Plummer’s Environmental will begin the annual preventative maintenance cleaning of the City’s Sanitary lines. The sanitary sewer lines highlighted in green on the attached map are selected areas to be cleaned.
It is possible you may hear “gurgling” noises within your drains, and you may encounter brief disruptions. We encourage all affected users to keep the toilet lids closed and sump area drains covered during this preventative maintenance cleaning. Please contact City Hall at (616)-997-9731, if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
